Cette partie est la plus travaillée du bâtiment. On y retrouve la façade du réfectoire, ornée des fameux pans ondulatoires. On retrouve les canons à lumière éclairant la crypte, ainsi que les pilotis et le sommet du pyramidion iconique figurant sur le logo de la Tourette. On y retrouve également la signature mythique de l’architecte.
L’aquarelle donne une dimension de douceur ainsi qu’une vision de maquette apportant le recul nécessaire pour observer l’élégance du couvent, tout en permettant d’orner la pièce dans laquelle l'œuvre se trouve.
This print is adapted from the photographic artist Winston Anna, and highlights the west façade of the convent. This is the most elaborate part of the building. It features the façade of the refectory, decorated with the famous undulating panels. The light cannons illuminating the crypt are here, as are the pilotis and the top of the iconic pyramidion featured on the de la Tourette logo. The mythical signature of the architect can also be seen. The watercolour lends a gentle dimension and a model-like vision, providing the distance needed to observe the elegance of the convent, while at the same time making it possible to decorate the room in which the work is displayed.
