Il est enseignant de philosophie et de théologie à l'Institut de Théologie d'Auvergne (ITA) à Clermont-Ferrand, assistant religieux provincial des fraternités laïques dominicaines, et aumônier du mouvement Foi et Lumière pour la province Loire, Rhône, Auvergne.

Friar Jean-Etienne LONG is the Prior (superior) of the community of brothers of the Convent of La Tourette.
He is a teacher of philosophy and theology at the Institute of Theology of Auvergne (ITA) in Clermont-Ferrand, assistant provincial religious of the Dominican lay fraternities, and chaplain of the Faith and Light movement for the province of Loire, Rhône, Auvergne.
