Trois artistes contemporains sont invités au couvent de La Tourette, le temps d’une exposition, à faire dialoguer leurs œuvres avec celle de Le Corbusier.
Les rythmes verticaux des œuvres de Vera Molnar, peintre de l’abstraction géométrique, entrent délicatement en résonance avec les pans de verre ondulatoires de Xenakis. La vidéo du photographe Stéphane Couturier, de prime abord abstraite, se révèle peu à peu comme une architecture en mouvement. Les sculptures puissantes et silencieuses de Ian Tyson, sur lesquelles vient jouer la lumière, font écho à la structure de béton du bâtiment.
Dialogue pluriel dans lequel les rythmes, les volumes, le mouvement jouent avec l’architecture de Le Corbusier.
Three contemporary artists are invited to the convent of La Tourette, for the duration of an exhibition, to create a dialogue between their works and those of Le Corbusier.
The vertical rhythms of the works of Vera Molnar, painter of geometric abstraction, enter delicately in resonance with the undulating glass panels of Xenakis. Photographer Stéphane Couturier's video, at first abstract, gradually reveals itself as architecture in motion. Ian Tyson's powerful and silent sculptures, on which the light plays, echo the concrete structure of the building.
A plural dialogue in which rhythms, volumes and movement play with Le Corbusier's architecture.
